Kaleo Unifiers

The Kaleo Summer Project, like any summer development program, has designed certain standards and policies to accomplish the goals of the project. These standards are not necessarily policy for all environments, but are deemed necessary for a spiritual project of this nature in a resort area.

  1. We are committed to providing an environment of safety and protection in an active resort environment.
    1. Women must have accompaniment when out at night.
    2. No attendance at clubs or bars.
  2. We are committed to maintaining a high standard of morals as Christian testimony in this environment.
    1. Honor the Lord with your appearance. Example: One piece and tankinis are appropriate. Tankinis must cover the stomach.
    2. No men in the women's bedrooms and vice versa.
    3. There will be an open curtain policy for male-female visiting in living rooms.
    4. No new tattoos during the project.
    5. No use of tobacco products during the project.
  3. We are committed to maintaining a high level of credibility and excellence with employers.
    1. You need the approval of the Project Director to miss work.
    2. Be on time to work and follow all policies for jobs.
  4. We are committed to creating an environment on the project to best accomplish the goals of the project.
    1. Retirement Time:
      --Weeknights--
      10:00 p.m. quiet hours begin
      11:00 p.m. in hotel room
      11:30 p.m. lights out
      --Weekends--
      12:00 a.m. in hotel room
      1:00 a.m. lights out
    2. The Project Director must approve all overnight guests.
    3. Build friendships, not romances this summer. No dating inside or outside of the project except for relationships established before the summer.
    4. You are responsible for rent on time so that the project can pay all bills on time.
    5. All project activities are required functions and should be attended on time.
    6. No leaving the project before it is officially over. Exceptions should be discussed with the Project Director before the summer begins.
    7. Be considerate of others at all times. (Example: Keep quiet hours, carry your load in the upkeep of your hotel room.)
    8. Follow all policies for hotel, job, and swimming.
  5. Project Intolerables: Promiscuous behavior, drugs, alcohol and warranted job termination (getting fired with good reason).
Student Mobilization reserves the right to release a student from the project.
