Meet Shubo & Anjali, two new believers in our ministry. Anjali has a childhood best friend named Priya who joined in on one of our hangouts a couple months ago. Anjali has been open with Priya about her new life in Christ and we’ve gotten the chance to share the Gospel and process through it with Priya together. Priya has said things like “Anjali has been teaching me everything she’s learning”. From the beginning Priya has shown a great warmth towards Jesus.
We planned a road trip with the three of them to a nearby beach to get them around other believers and to grow our relationships with them. It was a huge hit! They asked about spending some time in prayer and the Word together, before we even brought it up. We read parts of Acts 2 and talked about the importance of fellowship. By the end of this trip, it seemed like Priya was close to following Jesus if she hadn’t already taken that step in her heart!
A couple weeks later, as we read 2 Corinthians 5:17 together, Priya exclaimed, “that’s what has happened to me!” She now calls herself a disciple of Jesus. It’s been amazing to see spiritual multiplication happening among the unreached. Would you pray for Priya & Anjali, that their seeds of faith would grow deep roots and that they would continue to be zealous for others to know Christ?
The three of them have already displayed incredible faithfulness and eagerness to grow in Christ. Shubo has been open with his mom and friends about his love for Jesus and has been consistent in reading the Word. He is available and teachable, and seems to have a good grip on his new identity in Christ.
Would you pray that Shubo would continue to mature in Christ?
